My wife, Sandy and I retired to the Eastern Shore and Cape Charles in the fall of 2004.  Cape Charles Baptist Church was the first church that we attended when we arrived and we fell in love with it so much that we never visited anywhere else.  I had been involved with Deacon and Elder ministry at several churches that we attended in Georgia, as well as teachingSunday School.  In addition I have served as Youth Minister at several different churches where we have attended.

I was raised in a traditional Catholic home and attended Catholic elementary school where I learned much concerning God, but it wasn’t until attending a revival at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville, Georgia in January, 1980 that I came to realize my need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Since that time I have sought to serve the Lord through utilizing the spiritual gifts with which I believe the Lord has blessed me.  I was honored to be asked to serve as a deacon at Cape Charles Baptist and I continue to be honored to serve as Chairman of the Deacons.  I am very excited about the new direction, energy and vision for our Church and I invite everyone to join in the many ministry opportunities.
